A female teacher of a government primary school in Sailkupa of Jhenaidah had brought allegation of rpae attempt against her headmaster. The teacher had stopped going to school due to shame. She had thretened of committing suicide if punishment is not taken against the culprit head master.
The matter sparked re action among the teachers, guardinas and the officials of edication departament and local administration.
A female teqacher of Kashinathpur Govt Primary School under Sailkupa upazila in Jhenaidah in a petition to the upazila nirbahi officer on Thursday, alleged, the acting head master of the school Atul Kumar Sarker in the afternoon of Septemeber 11 advised her to stay in the school. As the tgeachers and the students left bthe venue, the headmaster tried to violate her. As she had protested the headmaster assaulted her and her clothings were torn due to scuffle.
Headmaster Atul Kumar saraker when asked said, the female teacher brought fake allegation against him when she faailed to be transfer as her will. He informed the matter to local UP chaiarman Mataiar Rahman, the head master said.
