Raozan students extend hands to build clean Bangladesh

With the aims of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to turn village into poura city/town and clean Bangladesh to realise this dreams of the PM, Raozan Pourasava launched programs of collecting garbage by the students within poura areas following the directives of the local legislator and Chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP. In connection, about 3 thousand students of different educational institutions of Raozan Pourasava areas brought 3000 sacks of garbage at a function held yesterday at Raozan Govt College ground with the cooperation of Raozan Upazila scouts and handed over to poura authority .The garbage purchase function was arranged by Poura authority with its Mayor Jamiruddin Parvez in the chair duly attended by Juvenile politician and noted social personality Faraz Karim Chowdhury as chief guest. UNO Junaid Kabir Sohag inaugurated the function duly moderated by councilor Jane Alam Jony.
Poura authority has pourchased these garbage that brought by students at a cost of Tk.100 per sack. At the beginning of the program, besides expressing solidarity, the lawmaker ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP greeted the students by video conference.
.Raozan pourasava purchased used plastic products, polythene and indigestible waste from 3,000 students as part of clean Bangladesh that has been running for the past two months in Raozan. .Among others Raozan Upazila Chairman AKM Eheshanul Haider Chowdhury Babul, Raozan Upazila Awami League Senior vice -President Md. Anwarul Islam, Raozan Municipality Panel Mayor Alhaj Bashir Uddin Khan, 2nd Panel Mayor Advocate Samir Dasgupta, councilor Jasimuddin , Leaders of Raozan Upazila Awami League, Juba League and Chhatra League were present on the occasion.
