On the occasion of the birthday of Saima Wazed Putul, Trustee and vice chairperson of Center for Research & Information, sewing machine, wheel chairs and food items were provided to the cripple and hapless people of Raozan yesterday evening at Raozan pourasava premises with Mayor Jamiruddin Parvez in the chair.
Saima Wazed is the grand daughter of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Under the directives of the lawmaker ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP, these relief items have been distributed, Raozan Mayor sources said. Local councilors, leaders of AL were also present on the occasion.
