A reminiscence meeting on Shafiqul Islam Chowdhury alias Baby Chowdhury , former Mayor of Raozan Pourashava was held at a community centre here on Wednesday arranged by Raozan Press Club .
The speakers in the reminiscence said Baby Chowdhury worked all along his life for the welfare of the people and society and in his absence the people of Raozan are extremely suffering from a proper guardian. Executive Magistrate and Asstt. Commissioner of Land, Raozan Jonaid Kabir Sohag was the inaugurator of the recollection meeting. Panel Mayor Bashir uddin Khan graced the occasion as chief guest while the second panel mayor Jamiruddin Parvez spoke on the occasion as principal speaker.Sub-Editor of Dainik Purbokone Jahangir Tutul was the keynote speaker in it .
