After long wait, the much talked nationalization of Raozan College has been fulfilled the dream after 53 years of its foundation . Former member of parliament Late AKM Fazlul Kabir Chowdhury established this college in 1963 and after relentless efforts of the son of the founder ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP , this college not turned as a Govt college .
The news of the nationalization of Raozan College was officially apprised to college authority on Thursday last.
After sensing the news of the nationalization, the people of Raozan irrespective of caste and creed burst into jubilant procession in the street and distributed sweets among the people in pourashava sadar, sources said.
While contacted Acting Principal of the college admitted the fact of receipt of official circular on nationalization of the college which received on Thursday last.
Among others,councilor Jamiruddin Parvez, Saiful Islam chowdhury Rana, Acting principal of the college Selim Newaz, Prof. Taslimuddin, councilor Advocate Dilip chowdhury spoke in the jubilant rally.
The speakers in the jubilant rally greet the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the local legislator ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury for their sympathetic role in nationalization of Raozan college, a Raozan correspondent Mir Aslam sources said.
