The actor fainted between shots in Wai. When Ranveer Singh says that Bajirao Mastani is his most demanding film yet, he surely isn’t kidding. After the major health scare with the shoulder surgery in April, Ranveer faced another scare when he collapsed on the set of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film while shooting a crucial scene in Wai. The actor, who was already battling high fever, chose to continue shooting and was severely dehydrated at the end of the day, requiring immediate medical attention.
But it looks like Ranveer needs no time to bounce back and is already back to shooting, chasing a schedule which requires him to complete his part in the film by 8th November. Ask him his mantra to keep away from falling ill again and he says, “I’ve learned the art of conservation from AK (Anil Kapoor). It means saving most of your energy for the camera. It’s all about maintaining an optimum performance level while filming. I’ve begun practicing resting up between shots by lying on my back with my eyes shut. I put on my headphones, listen to music that matches my mood, and stay in `Shavasana’, a state of physical limbo…This technique helps me economise my energy bank and channel it when the camera rolls.”
