On the occasion of the 75th birthday of renowned artiste of the Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra late Prabal Chowdhury, his son musician Ranjan Chowdhury has released a song titled Akash Bole Tumi Tumi. Kolkata’s popular singer Subhamita Banerjee has lent her voice for the song.
Ranjan Chowdhury is popularly known as Manash Chowdhury in the sports arena as he bagged the national table tennis titles in Bangladesh for five times. By profession, he is also a dental surgeon.
While talking about releasing the song, Ranjan Chowdhury said, “This song is a 75th birthday tribute to his father. It was recorded in Kolkata’s Vibrations studio. My father is a renowned artiste but few remember him on his birthdays. I wanted to pay tribute to him on this day.”
The song has jointly been composed by Sabyasachi Roni and Sudipta Saha. Ranjan also said, “If my father were alive today, he would have been proud of his singing prowess.”
