The Mardaani actress Rani Mukherji is currently on a roll.
She reportedly received a standing
ovation from Polish fans for her performance in the film recently and will now be honoured with a National Award.
According to reports, the Bengali beauty who fought against child
trafficking in the daring film, has left for Delhi to collect her National Award for ‘Best Representation of the Cause of Safety, Security and Protection of Women and Girl Child.’ The function is organised by the Institute for Gender Justice at India Habitat Centre, to
celebrate International Women’s Day. Mardaani has been produced by Aditya Chopra and it was released
in India last year.
Rani broke all stereotypes and proved that being ladylike is no excuse for not being tough and strong.
