Rangpur Riders will face Chittagong Vikings in the opening match of the 3rd Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) today. The match begins at 2.00 pm. In the day’s other match, Dhaka Dynamites will take on Comilla Victorians at the same venue. The game starts at 6.45 pm.
Private satellite channel Channel 9 will telecast all the matches live from the Stadium.
Earlier, on Friday night, Minister for Finance Abul Maal Abdul Muhith inaugurated the gala extravaganza as the chief guest at the Home of Cricket. President of Bangladesh Cricket Board Nazmul Hassan Papon was with him.
The Bangladesh and the Indian artistes and Bollywood heartthrob Hritik Roshan entertained the crowd-packed audience of SBNCS by their eye-catching performance.
