Press Club is a traditional organization of media workers in Rangpur region. This glorious 56th year has been celebrated from 1985 to 2021 by cutting cakes, holding discussion meetings and cultural programs organized by the Press Club in compliance with the health rules. The event was organized at Rangpur Chamber Auditorium on Sunday night.
Rangpur City Corporation Mayor Mostafizur Rahman Mostafa was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Deputy Commissioner Asib Ahsan, Regional Director of Rangpur Betar Dr. Mohammad Harun Aur Rashid, eminent political personality Prof. Dr. Syed Mamunur Rahman, former professor of Karkaikele College Shah Alam, Awami leader Rosie Rahman.
General Secretary of the Press Club Rafiq Islam Sarkar Rafiq, journalist Siddiqur Rahman, Marina Lovely, life member of the Press Club Tanvir Hossain Ashrafi, Kamrul Hasan and others spoke on the occasion.
The entire program was presented by AKM MoinulHaque, Literary and Cultural Secretary of the Press Club.
Later, artists from BTV and Bangladesh Betar Rangpur participated in the cultural program.
