Economic Reporter :Despite persistent improvement in many human development indicators in the past eight years, Bangladesh remains at the lower end of the Global Hunger index.According to the Global Hunger Index of the International Food Policy Research Institute’s (IFPRI), Bangladesh is ranked 90 among 118 countries.But it is ahead of India (97), Pakistan (107) and Afghanistan (111).In 2008, Bangladesh’s score was 32.4 but now it has improved to 27.1.
