Rangpur Division and Dhaka Division reached the final of the Development Cup Under-16 Football Competition on Saturday.
In the day’s first semi-final, Rangpur Division beat Chittagong Division by a solitary goal at the Physical Education College Ground in Mohammadpur.
Deepak of Rangpur Division scored the all-important goal.
In the day’s second semi-final, Dhaka Division outplayed Rajshahi Division by three goals to nil at the same venue.
Shaon of Dhaka Division scored two goals and his teammate Shuvo netted one goal. Tomorrow Rangpur Division will face Dhaka Division in the final at the same venue.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy, MP, will be the chief guest of the final and distribute the prizes among the winners.
