The Inter-ministry of Health and Family Welfare meeting was held today and taken a decision that Rangamati Medical College classes will be start on January 10.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim presided over the meeting while State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Malek, Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur, including Secretary of health and family welfare MM Niaz Uddin and high officials were present at the meeting.
The decision was taken after the instruction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The meeting was decided to star student’s admission process and build up infrastructure of the college.
The minister ordered the authorities to appoint a project director to start the medical college soon.
Already a principal has been appointed of the college.
