Rangamati Freedom Day was observed in the district with various programmes on Sunday.
On the occasion, Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board hoisted the national flag atop the residences of the freedom fighters Shamsuddin Ahmed Peara and Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Manish Dewan.
Later, a meeting was also held at Rangamati Chamber auditorium.
