Ramzan in Saudi Arabia to begin Tuesday

The moon of the Holy month of Ramzan was not seen in the sky of Saudi Arabia on Sunday. As such, the month of Shaban is being ended today (April 12). So, the Holy month of Ramzan in Saudi Arabia will begin on Tuesday.
A report in the UAE’s English-daily Khaleej Times reported on Sunday. It was reported the country’s moon-sighting committee could not see the moon of the Holy month of Ramzan in any part of Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening.
According to the Khaleej Times, the committee met on Sunday to see the moon. As the moon could not be seen, Ramzan was announced on Tuesday.
Other Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and Singapore will also observe Ramzan from Tuesday.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s Moon Sighting Committee met on Saturday (April 10). On that day, the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia called on all the people of the country to see the moon.
The moon can be seen in the sky of Bangladesh after a day of Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia. Ramzan and Eid are celebrated in Bangladesh the day after the Middle Eastern countries’ observance.
