Anti -Corruption Commission of Khulna arrested Project Implementation Officer of Rampal(PIO) on Thursday noon.
Source added that 17metric tones of rice was allotted to build a Saheed Minar on the bank of Jhalmolia Dighi of Hurka Union of the Upazilla.
Someone without mentioning name placed an allegation in the ACC Khulna office claiming that the allotted money was not spent properly for the purpose. After getting the allegation ,ACC Khulna office investigated the matter and finding the fact , they arrested PIO Swapan Kumar Brahma from Khulna.
