He was earlier known as RK Rana. He has released three musical albums based on modern songs till now.
This time he has released his Tagore songs based album titled Kandaley Tumi Morey with the name of Ramkrishna.
The album was released recently under the banner of Laser Vision. His mentor Ajoy Mitra has coordinated music of the album.
Basically Ramkrishna received training on Tagore song from Ajoy Mitra and Chhayanaut.
While talking about his solo album based on Tagore songs Ramkrishna told this correspondent, “I have made the album after facing a lot of sufferings. I have prepared the album very sincerely. I am grateful to Ajoy Mitra and my wife Shila Rani Das.”
Ramkrishna, hailed from Dhumuria village of Morelganj, Bagerhat, first play-backed under the direction of Anwar Parvez in Abid Hasan Badol’s movie Chokh Palti. Later he play-backed for several times.
