The Raman Lamba & Daulat-Uj-Zaman Foreign Local Cricket League (FLCL) T20 Tournament will begin on December 2.
The opening matches of Raman Lamba and Daulat-Uj-Zaman FLCL T20 Trophy will be held at Residential Model School & College Ground and Physical Education College Ground in Mohammadpur on December 2.
Raman Lamba was an Indian Cricketer, who played in four Test matches and 32 One Day International matches, mainly as a batsman. He died in 1998, three days after a ball hit him in the head while he was fielding in a local match between Dhaka Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club in Dhaka.
Sheikh Daulat-Ul-Zaman was a Bangladeshi national cricketer, who played for Bangladesh in I.C.C. Trophy 1979. He was a right-hand batsman and right-arm medium fast bowler. Daulat-Uj-Zaman played for Mohammedan Sporting Club. He also played first class cricket. He died in 2002.
To remember them the Tournament was started In 2013 at Jahangirnagar University.
A total of 10 teams splitting into 2 groups will take part in the meet this year.
The participating teams are: Indian Embassy, BRAC University ex-Cricketers Association, Tex Style BD Ltd, Dhaka Indian, Computer Source, B.M.C. Victorians. Sri Lankan Club, Dhaka Cricketers, Apex Cricketers and Apollo Hospitals.
