Ramakrishna Mission working to promote religious harmony in BD

Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Friday said Ramakrishna Mission has been doing a good job in promoting “social integration” and “religious harmony” in Bangladesh.
” Ramakrishna Mission represents the historical and cross cultural attributes so deeply rooted among the people of India and Bangladesh,” he said while inaugurating a new building for orphans at Ramakrishna Ashram, Comilla.
Swami Dhruveshananda Maharaj, principal, Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, Swami Vishweshwarananda, secretary, Ramakrishna Ashram & Mission, Comilla, Md. Hasanuzzaman Kallol, deputy commissioner, Comilla, Md. Shah Abid Hossain, superintendent of police, Comilla and Somnath Halder, assistant high commissioner of India, Chittagong were present at the function. The building was constructed with the support of the government of India and was successfully completed on time.
Around 60 children from the orphanage run by the Ramakrishna Ashram, Comilla are expected to be benefited by this project.
The high commissioner also visited the Jagannath Temple run by ISKCON in Comilla.
