On the occasion of the 40th martyrdom anniversary of the late President Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam, the Kapasia Upazila Chhatra Dal of Gazipur has staged a protest procession and protest rally against the barbaric attack of the Chhatra League on the President of the Central Chhatra Dal during the distribution of food among the destitute and helpless at Dhaka University (DU). As part of the Central Chhatra Dal’s nationwide programme, leaders of various units were present at the protest rally at the Upazila Parishad Sadar Road on Thursday morning.
Central Chhatra Dal President Fazlur Rahman Khokon and other leaders at the Dhaka University TSC premises on Tuesday demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in the brutal attack on the Chhatra League.
Kapasia Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Imran Hossain Shishir presided over the rally and member secretary Zahidul Islam Zahid, among others, addressed the rally. Joint Convener of Upazila Chhatra Dal Ashraful Islam, Ibrahim Taslim, Yahya Faraji, Member Omar Farooq, Gazipur District Chhatra Dal Member Saiful Islam, Zakir Hossain, Farhad Hossain, joint convener of Degree College Chhatra Dal.
