Rakib’s ton spur Old DOHS 52 runs victory against BKSP

Rakib hammered an unbeaten century of 116 runs for Old DOHS Sports Club’s 52 runs victory against Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) in the Dhaka First Division Cricket League at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium-outer (KSOAS), Fatullah on Wednesday.
Old DOHS scored 253 for 5 in 50 overs while BKSP were all out for 201 in 48 overs, including Habibur Rahman’s half century of 70 runs.
In another league match, Kakrail Boys Club secured a seven-wicket victory against Baridhara Dezzlers at KSOAS.
Kakrail Boys chased down a target of 183 for 3 in 45.2 overs replying to Baridhara Dazzlers score of 182 for all in 49 overs.
Aslam Ali and Asadullah Al Galib hammered half centuries each scoring 76 and 67 runs respectively for the winners.
Bangladesh Boys Club (197/10 in 49.3 overs) upset Sheikh Jamal Cricketers (142/10 in 40.3 overs) by 55 runs at BKSP Ground 4. Rubel Howlader played an innings of 72 runs for the winners.
At BKSP Ground 3, Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club (228/8 in 50 overs) managed a three-run victory against Talent Hunt Cricket Academy (225/10 in 48.5 overs). Tarikuzzaman scored 62 runs for Rupganj Tigers.
