Mohammad Rakib Hossain and Utsho Zubaid pair of Bangladesh emerged boys’ doubles champions in the Bengal Plastic Asian 14/U Series Tennis Tournament beating Jongmin Son and Sung Ho Son pair of Korea 6-1, 6-1 in the final held on Friday at National Tennis Court Complex in Ramna.
In the boys’ singles final, Maxwel Heward of Hong Kong emerged champion beat Rakib Hossain of Bangladesh 6-4, 6-0.
In the girls’ singles final, Gi Woo Choi of Korea emerged champion beating her compatriot Yeong-Eun Ryu 6-1, 7-6 (5) in the final.
Besides, Gi Woo Choi and Yeong-Eun Ryu pair of Korea won the girls’ doubles crown as they got walkover against Eun-Ji Jung of Korea and Raina Shay Lal of Bangladesh pair in the final.
