GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib of Bangladesh Navy finished 72nd position and IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin of Bangladesh Navy stood in 82nd position with 5 points each out 9 games in the 18th Dubai Open Chess that concluded on Tuesday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
GM Enamul Hossain Razib became 90th with 4.5 points.
In the 9th or last round games, GM Rakib drew with FM Samhouri A of Jordan, IM Minhaz drew with Harsha Bharathakoti of India and GM Razib split points with Hemant Sharma of India. GM Jones Gawain of England emerged champion and GM Akopian Vladimir became runner-up with 7.5 points each.
A total of 195 players including 46 grandmasters, 8 women grandmasters and 39 International Masters participated in the event.
