Rajdhani Unnayan Katripakkha (RAJUK) fined Haroon Eye Hospital Tk two lakh for building an additional floor in violation of original floor design.
A mobile court of RAJUK broke a portion of the floor 7 built without permission and asked the Hospital authority to pay additional fees for use of the commercial building as
hospital within a period of one month and to take necessary clearance from RAJUK.
Executive Magistrate Nasir Hossain, Director of Rajuk Zone 5 Shah Alam Chowdhury, Authorized Officer Asish Kumar Saha, Assistant Authorized officer Joton Debnath along with other RAJUK officials were in the team.
The team also demolished a basement of a building and opened it for parking in the same area.
They also asked a building owner to show the original design to the mobile court within three days. The owner of Ochard Point took clearance earlier to operate as showroom only, but he started restaurant, commercial shops and offices there.
