After evicting BNP leader Barrister Moudud Ahmed from his illegally occupied house at Gulshan 2 in the capital, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) has now started demolishing it on Sunday morning.
The Rajuk workers began demolition of the house around 9:00 am here on Sunday, said Khan Nurul Islami sub-inspector of Gulshan Police Station.
Earlier on June 7, Rajuk evicted BNP leader Moudud Ahmed from his illegally occupied house at Gulshan-2 following a Supreme Court order.
The eviction drive followed a Supreme Court order to Rajuk to mutate the 1.13 bighas of land on Road-79 at Gulshan-2 where the BNP leader had been residing since 1981.
