Rajshai Division beat Barisal Dvision by four wickets on the fourth and last day of a sixth round match of the Walton 16th National Cricket League at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratishthan (BKSP) Ground-2 in Savar on Thursday.
The three other sixth round matches ended in draw on the fourth day. Khulna Division drew with Dhaka Metro at BKSP Ground-3; defending champions Dhaka Division drew with Rangpur Division at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur; and Chittagong Division drew with Sylhet Division at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
With the sixth round results, Khulna Division earned 96 points to move to the top slot from second place by virtue of net run rate, leapfrogging Rangpur Division (96 points) while Dhaka Division remained in their previous third place, also bagging identical 96 points.
Dhaka Metropolis and Rajshahi Division maintained their previous fourth and fifth place respectively with 75 and 66 points.
Meanwhile, Sylhet Division moved to sixth place (38 points) putting Barisal Division (37 points) down to seventh while Chittagong Division (29 points) remained in the last position of the eight-team battle.
Rajshai vs Barisal
Barisal Division (235 in 1st innings) resumed the second innings on the fourth and final day with overnight 338 for 7 in 79 overs and were all out for 364 runs in 83.5 overs.
Overnight batsman Al-Amin scored run-a-ball 70 with 11 fours and a six while another overnight batsman Salman Hossain scored 21 runs. Skipper Kamrul Islam (8) was the other scorer for the side.
Sanjamul Islam captured five wickets for 126 runs and Mukter Ali grabbed three wickets for 44 runs while Mohaiminul Khan and Saqlain Sajib took one wicket each for 27 and 80 runs respectively in the second innings.
Chasing a 353 runs to win, Rajshahi Division (247 runs in 1st innings) opened the second innings on the fourth day and reached the target in 89.3 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Opener Myshukur Rahman scored team highest 80 runs off 141 balls with 11 fours and a six while Tareq Khan scored 77 runs off 95 balls with eight fours.
Skipper Forhad Reza hammered 50 runs off 32 balls with four fours and three sixes while Mohaiminul Khan (49) was the other notable scorer for the side.
Kamrul Islam grabbed three wickets for 82 runs while Mosaddek Hossain, Nasum Ahmed and Sohag Gazi took one wicket each for 20, 84 and 127 runs respectively.

Khulna vs Dhaka Metro
Khulna Division (416 runs in 1st innings) resumed the second innings on the fourth day with over night 26 for no loss in 4 overs and scored 331 runs for 8 in 85 overs before they declared the innings.
Number four batsman Tushar Imran scored team highest 71 runs off 146 balls with seven fours while Nurul Hasan (not out 62), Abu Bakkar Siddiq (57), overnight Mehedi Hasan (39) and Imrul Kayes (31) were the other notable scorers for the side.
Shamsur Rahman claimed five wickets for 69 runs and Elias Sunny grabbed three wickets for 90 runs in the second innings.

Dhaka Division vs Rangpur
Defending champions Dhaka Division (335 in 1st innings) resumed the second innings on the fourth day with overnight 63 for 2 in 16.4 overs and scored 259 for all in 89.3 overs.
Number seven Nadif Chowdhury scored highest 49 runs while Shuvagata Hom (37), overnight Rakibul Hasan (28) and Jony Talukdar (27) were the other notable scorers on the fourth and final day.
Sajedul Islam and Shuvashish Roy grabbed three wickets each for 42 and 86 runs respectively in the second innings while Mahmudul Hasan, Ariful Haque and Shurawardy Shuvo took one wicket each for 28, 29 and 43 runs respectively.
Rangpur Division (306 runs in 1st innings) opened the second innings on the fourth day and scored 100 runs for one wicket in 18.3 overs when the bails were drawn for the final day, riding on the opening stand between Liton Kumar (74 ) and Tarik Ahmed (not out 25).
Shuvagato Hom took the only wicket for 40 runs.

Chittagong vs Sylhet
Replying to Sylhet Division 507/8 (dec) in the 1st innings, Chittagong Division resumed the first innings on the fourth day with overnight 157 for 6 in 64 overs and scored 332 runs for all in 124.3 overs, spurred by number eight Iftekhar Sajjad Rony’s unbeaten century of 126 runs off 222 balls with 16 fours and three sixes.
Faisal Hossain (60) was the other notable contributor for the side in the first innings.
Abul Hasan and Ahmed Sadiqur took three wickets each for 31 and 89 runs respectively.
Sylhet Division (507 runs in 1st innings) opened the second innings on the fourth day and scored 88 runs for 3 wickets in 21 overs.
Roman Ahmed (31), Imtiaz Hossain (19) and Rahatul Ferdous (not out 18) were the double digit contributors for the side on the fourth day.
Younus, Mehedi Hasan Rana and Nafees Iqbal took one wicket each for 5, 16 and 26 runs respectively in the second innings.
