‘Project to intensify anti-militancy campaign on cards’

The government is to undertake a project for intensifying anti-militancy campaign throughout the country, Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman told the House on Tuesday. Replying to a starred scripted query from treasury bench member Shamsul Haque Chowdhury (Chittagong-12), the minister said a project proposal for carrying out anti-militancy publicity is awaiting approval. “Once the scheme is okayed, strengthening of anti-militancy campaign would be possible,” he said.
