Rajshahi, May 06: The Rajshahi Education Board has secured its top position again among eight education boards in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results with a success rate of 86.07 percent.
A total of 1, 51,406 students out of 1, 66,938 passed in the SSC examination in this year.
In 2017, the pass rate of Rajshahi board was 90.70 percent while it was 95. 70 percent in 2016 and 94.97 percent in 2015, the Rajshahi Education Board’s sources said.
However, the pass rate among all of boards across the country is highest this year and the number of GPA-5 achievers is 19, 498 under the board, sources also added.
A total of 10, 018 male students scored GPA-5 while the number of female GPA-5 obtainers is 9,480.
A number of 1, 94, 543 students from 632 schools took part in the SSC examination under the board.
The students from 429 schools achieved 100 percent pass rate.
Besides, the numbers of zero pass rate school is only one this year under the board, according to the sources of Rajshahi Education Board.
