Andrew Kishore was the play-back emperor of the country. He is the only singer where people heard the maximum number of play-back songs in his voice. Andrew Kishore was favourite singer to Close Up 1 famed present generation’s singer Rajib. Rajib’s fans always prefer to hear Andrew Kishore’s songs in his voice. While performing stage shows besides own original songs, Rajib also render Andrew Kishore’s songs. Coming Eid, Rajib will render Andrew Kishore’s eight songs in a special programme of Deepto TV to pay tribute to this legendary singer.
Rajib has already completed recording of these songs for the Eid special programme. He has rendered popular play-back songs of Andrew Kishore in different movies. These songs are: Ami ekdin tomai na dekhile, Beder meye joshna amai kotha diyechhe, Buke achhe mon,
Tumi aamar jibon, Ki diya mon karila, Tumi chander joshna nou, Chander sathe ami debona and Sobar jibone prem ashe. Ronti Das is co-singer of Rajib in the musical show. While talking about rendering Andrew Kishore’s songs in Eid special programme, Rajib said, “During childhood he is my favourite singer. He is also idol singer to me. Though he is not alive but I truly believe Andrew Kishore alive forever in our minds for his rendered songs. To pay tribute to him, I rendered his songs on Deepto TV’s Eid special programme. I give thanks to my co-singer Ronti to participate in the programme. Within April 24, I will attend Eid programmes of BTV, SA TV and Jamuna TV.”
