Rajeeb murder 2 more witnesses testified

Two more witnesses testified yesterday (Tuesday) in the blogger Rajeeb murder case. Judge Sayed Ahammed of Dhaka’s Speedy Trial Tribunal-3 recorded their depositions and they were DNA testing physician Dr Mahmud Hasan and SI Anisur Rahman of Pallabi Police Station, who accepted the case on behalf of the police station.
Of the 55 witnesses in the case, 28 testified so far and the court fixed November 22 to record the depositions of other witnesses.
DB Police Inspector Nibaron Chandra Barman submitted the charge sheet of the case to the court against eight accused,
 including Ansarullah Bangla Team chief Saikhul Hadith Mufti Jasim Uddin. Other seven accused persons were students of the Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Department of North South University.
Blogger architect Rajeeb Haider Shovon was hacked to death in front of his residence in Pallabi area of the city on February 15, 2013. His father Dr Nazim Uddin filed the case with Pallabi Police Station in the capital.
