The BNP on Wednesday said that the Rajakars’ list published by the government has revealed the ruling Awami League’s real face again.
“It has been unmasked by the government itself by publishing the list of collaborators of 71. Now the ministries are blaming
each other for the mistake,” BNP Senior Joint-Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said it in a press briefing at the party’s Nayapaltan office.
The BNP leader said, “The Liberation War Affairs Ministry blamed the Home Ministry for the erroneous list. On the other hand the Home Ministry blamed the Liberation War Affairs Ministry for the list which shows that many AL leaders were collaborators of Pakistani forces during the Liberation War.”
“Awami League was trying to attack opposition by publishing the list, but finally many of their leaders and workers were identified as Rajakars across the country,” Rizvi said.
He also accused the AL government of breaching human rights by refraining the party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s relatives from meeting her in the prison for long.
