Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan called upon the passengers and the pedestrians along with the drivers to become conscious while travelling on the road as consciousness is for checking the increasing rate of road accident in the country.
“Not only the drivers but the passengers and pedestrians also have to raise their awareness for checking the road accident,” said the minister.
The minister made this call as the chief guest while he was addressing a triennial conference of Madaripur District Teachers Association at Shilpakala Academy in Madaripur on Friday.
