UNB, Dhaka :

Intermittent rains, triggered by depression over West Bengal, may continue for three more days across the country, including the capital, said Met office on Sunday.
Heavy rains already inundated roads, lanes by-lanes in some parts of the capital on Sunday afternoon, causing sufferings to commuters.
Met office recorded around 1 millimeter rain in the capital from 12 pm to 4 pm.
According to a Met Office bulletin, rain/thundershowers temporary south/south-easterly, squalls speed 60-80 kph is likely to occur over the regions of Cumilla, Dhaka, Faridpur, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Mymensingh, Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali and Sylhet wherein river ports shall hoist riverine warning Signal No 2.
Rain/thundershowers temporary south/south-easterly, gusty/squally wind speed 45-60 kph is likely to occur elsewhere over the country wherein river ports shall hoist cautionary signal no one.
The inland river ports warning will remain valid till 1 am of September 30, the bulletin added.
