Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at some places across the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am yesterday.
However, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the BMD press release said.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions during the time,” said the press release, reports BSS.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 37.0 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum temperature on Thursday was 22.5 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur.
