Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted that rain accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind may occur at many places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am yesterday.
“Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions and at a few places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions,” said a Met office bulletin issued here.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 30.8 degree Celsius in Teknaf of Chattogram division while Saturday’s minimum temperature was 15.4 degree Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur division.
