Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind at one or two places over the country till 9 am today.
“Rain, thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions and at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions”, said a met office press release.
The day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 37.0 degrees Celsius in Patuakhali under Barishal division and Khulna and Friday’s minimum temperature 21.0 degrees Celsius in Dimla under Rangpur division.
