Rain with gusty wind likely at some places

The met office predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at some places across the country in the next 24 hours as of 9am today.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Sylhet and Rangpur divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places during the time,” said a met office press release on Tuesday.
During the next 72 hours, the bulletin predicted that the rain or thundershowers activity is likely to continue over the northern part of the country, reports BSS.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 36.1 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and Tuesday’s minimum temperature was 19.5 degrees Celsius at Nikli.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am yesterday was recorded 23 millimetres (mm) at Sylhet.
