Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet division and at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places, a met office press release said on Wednesday.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Gopalganj, Rajshahi and Pabna and it may continue. Day temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Night temperature may fall slightly over western part of the country and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 37.6 degree Celsius at Jashore and minimum temperature on Wednesday was recorded by 19.1 degree Celsius at Srimangal. Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6 am on yesterday was recorded by 28 millimeters (mm) at Srimangal.
