Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday predicted that rain may occur at different parts of the country, with falling hails at isolated places, in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rangpur and Chattogram divisions; and at one or two places over Dhaka and Rajshahi divisions with hails at isolated places,” said a met office bulletin issued here.
Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over Khulna and Barishal divisions.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 36.2 degrees Celsius in Rangamati, while Friday’s minimum temperature was 17.9 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.
