Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted rain or thundershowers with temporary partly cloudy sky in parts of country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am today. “Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places in parts of country until today’s morning,” a met office press release said. Weather may remain mainly dry and the day temperature may rise slightly within the next 72 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday, it said.
