Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasts rain or thundershowers throughout the country in 24 hours as of 9 am today.
“Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places in Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places in Dhaka, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places in Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions,” said a met office press release .
Weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country in 24 hours commencing 9 am on Tuesday, the release added.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over Northwestern part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 30.5 degrees Celsius on Monday at Dinajpur, Tetulia and Dimla in Rangpur division while Tuesday’s minimum temperature 16.9 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
