Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted rain with temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions, at many places over Rangpur, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions during the time said a met office bulletin issued on Wednesday morning.
Moderately heavy to heavy falls are likely to occur at some places over south-western part of the country, it said.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur division, while Wednesday’s minimum temperature was 23 degrees Celsius in Khulna.
