Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many in the country. The places are Khulna, a few places over Rajshahi and Barishal divisions and one or two places over Rangpur, Dhaka Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Moderate to heavy falls may occur at some places over southern part of the country, said a Met bulletin on Wednesday. Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 35.5 degree Celsius and minimum temperature on Wednesday was recorded by 23.1 degree Celsius both at Tetulia.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty four hours till 6:00am yesterday was recorded by 21 millimetres (mm) at Bhola.
