Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions and the districts of Rangamati, Cumilla, Chandpur, M.court, Feni, Rajshahi, Pabna and Sirajganj and it may continue.
Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Chattogram divisions, said a met office press release here on Tuesday.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 39.4 degree Celsius at Jashore and Tuesday’s minimum temperature 22.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Mymensingh.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00am on Tuesday was recorded 30millimeters (mm) at Tangail.
