Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Khulna and Dhaka divisions, a met office press release said on Thursday.
Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, said the press release issued for 24 hours commencing at 9 yesterday morning.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the river basins of the southern part of the country and light fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Trough of low lies over North Bay. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 29.5 degrees Celsius at Rangamati and minimum temperature on Thursday was 8.5 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
