The met office on Tuesday predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at many places over the country.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over northern part of the country”, said a met office press release in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the districts of Rajshahi and Pabna and it may continue.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release said.
Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded by 37.5 degree Celsius at Rajshahi and Chuadanga and minimum temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 21.7 degree Celsius at Dinajpur.
