Rain triggered cold wave may prolong 3 days

Staff Reporter: Another two to three days cold wave may sweep over the country due to the rain of the Friday morning as per the forecast of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
`The cold wave is likely sweep in the next 48 hours which would be prolonged for last three days`, said Md Aftab Uddin, a meteorologist.
The met office’s latest forecast said that the light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur at different parts of the country in next 24 hours as like 9:00am of Friday.
It also showed that the moderate to thick fog may occur at different places across the country from midnight to morning.
And temperature may fall by 2 to 4 degree Celsius in day time as well night across the country.
As per the BMD the lowest temperature on Friday was recorded in Tetulia upazila of Panchagarh district at 11.2° Celsius.
