Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Friday predicted that rain may occur at many places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Friday.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions,” a Met Office bulletin issued on Friday morning.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it said.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 34.3 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda of Chattogram, while today’s minimum temperature was 16.7 degree Celsius in Srimangal of Moulvibazar.
The sun sets at 6:07 pm on Friday and rises at 6:08 am today ( Saturday) in the capital.
