A train on its way to Sylhet from Chittagong derailed near Shahjibazar Station in Habiganj around 12am on Sunday.
Rail communication between Sylhet and other parts of the country was suspended after four bogies of a freight train carrying oil derailed on Sunday.

Confirming the matter Shayestaganj Railway Sub-Assistant Engineer Saiful Islam said the rail link restoration work will begin after 3pm.
