Rahmatullah Model High School emerged champions of the Health First Mini Rugby Competition when they beat Saint Gregory’s High School by 19-16 points in the tie-breaker of the final at the Paltan Maidan on Sunday.
The stipulated time of the match ended in a 7-7 draw.
Thus the result of the match was decided in the tie-breaker.
Md Mamun of Rahmatullah High School was adjudged the best player.
After the final match, General Secretary of Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation Jobera Rahman Linu distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Federation (BRF) Mousum Ali, Secretary of the Tournament Committee Syed Ahmed, Members of the Executive Committee of BRF Parvin Nasima Nahar Putul, Din Islam and Sirajul Islam were present at the time.
